A Queens Closet

SUPPORTING SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

A Queen's Closet

A queens closet is a sustainable fashion initiative geared towards curbing excessive purchasing of formal wear, special occasion and business attire. Our organization collects these items from individuals who may otherwise leave them unused in their closets. We offer all clothing free of charge to any woman in need across the world.

During the fall and spring semesters, our organization collects new and gently used formal wear, business and business casual attire as well as special occasion dresses. We partner with schools, youth organizations and foster homes to identify possible nomination for a wardrobe as well a take in request via our website. During homecoming season as well as prom, we hold tea parties where invited women may choose a gown of their liking while enjoying the company of fine women.
