Yes, The Empire is a real physical location. We are land locked in the State of Indiana. We are a nation that governs within our territory. We abide by the laws of our neighboring country and maintain dual citizenship with the United States.
Q: Did The Empire of Ishola Secede from the United States
Absolutely not! All Ishola People are proud of their native land. The Empress and majority of The Royal Council are proud American Citizens. We serve the 6th region of Africa in response to the African Union's call to organize. The Sixth Region was constructed to increase the participation of actors located outside of the continent of Africa.
The 2003 Protocol on Amendments to the Constitutive Act and encourages the full participation of the African Diaspora as an important part of the African Continent, and in the building of the African Union.
Our Nation has created a home for the African Diaspora to grow, thrive and serve.
Q: Do you pay taxes to the US Government?
All citizens pay taxes to their respective countries. The Ishola Empire is a Non Profit Organization that pays applicable taxes as necessary.
Q: Can I visit The Empire of Ishola?
The Empire is private property. Please do not trespass on our land. Citizens are welcome during official events and national holiday functions by invitation by The Empress. Any unauthorized visitation is illegal in The Ishola Empire.
