The Ishola Empire Partners With Strides for Africa to Bring Clean Water in Rwanda

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

The Ishola Empire Partners with Strides for Africa to Bring Clean Water to Bumbogo Secondary School in Rwanda

[Pensacola Florida, January 19th 2024] - The Ishola Empire, a nation of Africa's 6th region is proud to announce its partnership with Strides for Africa, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving access to clean water in underprivileged communities. Together, they will be establishing a Rainwater Collection System and Hand Pump Well at Bumbogo Secondary School in Rwanda. This system will supply safe drinking water and allow for efficient irrigation of the school's vegetable gardens. The principal, Father Noel, highlighted the critical need for this system during the Stride's team’s October 2022 and May 2023 visits, noting its benefits in sanitation, irrigation, and financial savings. The system will also address the issue of intermittent water access, preventing rain-related damage and reducing external water purchase costs. This collaboration aligns with The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, specifically Goal 6: Clean Water and Sanitation and 17 Partnerships for the Goals.

Under the guidance of Her Imperial Majesty, Empress Myishola I, this initiative aims to address the pressing issue of water scarcity and its impact on education in Bumbogo. Her Imperial Majesty recognizes the crucial role that clean water plays in providing a conducive learning environment for students. Access to clean water not only promotes better health and hygiene practices but also enhances educational opportunities and overall well-being.

The introduction of a water well at Bumbogo Secondary School will have a transformative effect on the lives of the students. It will ensure a sustainable supply of clean water for drinking, cooking, and sanitation purposes. This, in turn, will reduce the risk of waterborne diseases and improve the overall health and attendance of the students. Moreover, the availability of clean water will alleviate the burden of fetching water from distant sources, allowing students, particularly girls, to focus on their education and pursue their dreams.

To support this important cause, individuals and organizations are encouraged to make donations towards the construction and maintenance of the water well. Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a significant impact on the lives of the students at Bumbogo Secondary School. Donations can be made through the official website of Strides for Africa, where further information about the project can also be found.

Additionally, Her Imperial Majesty will be hosting a charity auction at The Empress's Royal Reception, scheduled to take place this coming February. The auction will serve as a fundraising event to raise funds for the water well project. Attendees will have the opportunity to bid on exclusive items and experiences, with all proceeds going towards this noble cause. The Empress invites philanthropists, business leaders, and individuals passionate about making a difference to join her in this charitable endeavor.

The Ishola Empire and Strides for Africa are committed to creating a lasting impact in the lives of the students at Bumbogo Secondary School. By providing access to clean water, they aim to empower the students, promote sustainable development, and contribute to the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
